Xbox 360 Games Update – Bungie Releasing Halo: Reach in September 2010

Halo: Reach is a first person shooter game that is developed by Bungie and published by Microsoft Game Studios. Bungie expect to release the game on the September of 2010. It was created as a sequel to the Halo Series. Microsoft announces the game during the world premiere that takes place at the Spike Video Game Awards on the 12th December 2009.

The storyline of Halo happens in the futuristic year of 2552. At this time, the humans have been fighting with the Covenant aliens races for a long time. All the interstellar colonies are destroyed except one colony which is the Reach. Reach works for the UNSC military center. The Noble Team consists a group of super soldiers called Spartans. The playable character in the game is Noble 6, an anonymous addition to the Spartan colony. The head of the Noble Team is Carter-259 and Kat-320 are the two remaining original survivors of the Noble Team. The newer members that survived include Jorge-052, and Emile-239.

The multiplayer supports are available through Xbox Live. Players can take advantage of the multiplayer modes to play as Spartan soldiers. For example, players can take up the role of Covenant aliens with more powerful rolling ability.
Gamesindustry.biz has rated Halo: Reach as the best selling game in 2010. Microsoft has already released a video regarding the multiplayer version in the Halo Waypoint. Players can also download the video from the Xbox Live Marketplace.

The Reach is available in 3 editions including the standard edition, limited edition and legendary edition. Reach standard edition costs $60. The limited edition costs $90. It has a lot of features including artifact bag, unique packaging and elite armor games. The legendary edition costs $150. It includes all the features in the limited edition, and Spartan armor. The legendary edition also offers a ten pounds statue which was developed by McFarlane Toys.

    In a few months time I’ll be dying to see who will have the largest amount of units purchased worldwide between Red Dead Redemption, Call of Duty Black Ops, Prince of Persia, and Halo.. Personally, I think it will a toss up between Madden and Halo.
